As the country’s new First Vice Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, President Yoon Suk Yeol has named Yong Ho-seong, the ministry’s current chief of International Cultural Affairs and Public Relations Office.
The announcement came on Thursday, saying. Yong, who’s worked at the Ministry for the past 30 years, has extensive practical experience and a strong theoretical foundation in cultural and artistic policy, which falls under his new jurisdiction.
Yong also has a Ph.D. in Performing Arts Management from Kyung Hee University.
