Good afternoon. Seoul had the season’s first rain advisory yesterday. The showers have let up in most parts but Jeolla-do and west of Gyeongsang-do Provinces could see 10 to 40 millimeters of more rain, the rest of the country could see light showers before it subsides in the mid-afternoon.
Meanwhile, Daegu and Busan had the season’s first tropical night overnight. The heat gets stronger for Gyeongsang-do and nearby provinces today in the low thirties again. Afternoon highs should go up 1 to 10 degrees Celsius higher in most places.
Seoul and Chuncheon see a high of 27 degrees but moisture in the air will make it feel quite uncomfortable, Daejeon gets up to 29 degrees. Skies will get brighter but coastal regions will be quite windy.
Monsoon rain returns tomorrow afternoon from central parts of the country continuing into early Friday. Then a rainy weekend is ahead of us.
