[Weather] Cold wave tomorrow, heavy snow in the Jeolla-do provinces


In Seoul, it is expected to plummet to minus 6 degrees Celsius both tomorrow and Wednesday morning and to minus 12 degrees on Thursday. Cold wave advisories were issued as of 10 a.m. this morning in Gangwon-do Province and northeastern parts of Gyeonggi-do Province as temperatures are forecast to drop below minus 12 degrees in the morning tomorrow and also Wednesday.

Meanwhile, heavy snow is expected in the southwest along with fierce cold spell. As for the amount of snowfall, more than 20 centimeters of snow is expected in Jeollabuk-do Province, more than 15 centimeters in Gwangju and Jeollanam-do Province until Wednesday. This heavy snow will continue weak and strong until the second half of the week.

Tomorrow, most areas will start at below zero degrees.

Highs will move up to 1 degree in Seoul, 4 degrees in Gwangju and Gyeongju.
