There has been a big drop in temperatures overnight, Paju had a low of minus 15 degrees, and Cheorwon also had an icy cold morning.
Tomorrow’s weather looks to be a repeat of today’s, then Sunday is Sohan on the seasonal calendar and it gets extremely cold from Sohan and we will be seeing dramatic change in temperatures next week.
The east of Gangwon-do is under a dry weather warning now and with a strong wind forecast for the area, there is wildfire danger across east coast regions.
Afternoon temperatures will be 2 to 5 degrees lower than yesterday, Seoul gets up to 3 degrees, Daegu at 5 degrees. Bright skies are expected for most parts of Korea.
Conditions will take a colder turn come Wednesday with afternoon temperatures also staying below freezing in the capital, morning lows will drop to nearly minus 10 degrees at the end of next week.
