U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken will visit South Korea on Sunday, as part of his “farewell tour” to mark the end of the Biden administration.
According to diplomatic sources, Blinken is scheduled to visit Seoul on Sunday and hold a meeting with his South Korean counterpart Cho Tae-yul on Monday.
During his visit the top U.S. envoy is expected to reaffirm the strong ROK-U.S. alliance, while also revealing his stance on the December 3rd emergency martial law order, as well as South Korea’s democracy.
