North Korea launched an intermediate-range ballistic missile toward the East Sea today.
According to South Korea’s military the missile was fired from the Pyongyang area at around noon on this Monday and flew some 1-thousand 1-hundred kilometers.
This latest launch marks the regime’s first for the new year and also comes two weeks before U.S. President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration.
The last time North Korea fired missiles was back in November last year just ahead of the U.S. presidential election.
