AESPA will be performing “Sync: Parallel Lines” in four cities in Japan, starting with Fukuoka tomorrow. What are your prospects for the group’s new chapter in Japan?

Tickets for the two-day event quickly sold out to draw more than 91-thousand fans, proving the five-member group’s overwhelming popularity in Japan. Tell us more about the significance of NewJeans rocking the Tokyo Dome just five days after their Japanese debut.

Q4. The popularity of K-pop in Japan continues to soar, consistently outperforming Western pop on major music charts. What draws so many young people in Japan to the world of K-pop, and in your view, what distinct elements set K-pop apart from J-pop?

Q5. Seventeen performed on the main stage at Britain’s Glastonbury Festival in Somerset, in another show of K-pop’s growing global influence. We’ve seen several K-pop artists perform at Coachella, the largest music festival in North America, but this marked the first time for a K-pop artist to make it to Glastonbury. What are the implications of this achievement?
