Hong Myung-bo named new head coach for men’s nat’l football team

The Korean Football Association on Sunday named Ulsan HD FC’s Hong Myung-bo the new head coach of the men’s national football team.
After months of running with an interim head coach in place,.. the national team now has a permanent boss, following the ousting of former head coach Jürgen Klinsmann.
The KFA said that its technical director Lee Lim-saeng will hold a press conference on the appointment on Monday.
Hong led his K-League 1 squad to two league titles in the past two years, and coached the men’s national football team previously from 2013 to 2014.
His brief tenure ended with a group-stage exit at the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
