Good morning. It was pouring down yesterday in the capital area with the season’s first rain advisory issued in Seoul, the showers have let up here but rain clouds are dropping showers on Gyeongsang-do Provinces and some of the central areas.
Jeolla-do and west of Gyeongsang-do could see 10 to 40 millimeters of rain, elsewhere could see 5 to 30 millimeters before rain subsides in the afternoon.
Meanwhile, Daegu had the season’s first tropical night overnight and Jeju also had a warm night. Afternoon highs will go up 1 to 10 degrees Celsius higher than yesterday.
Seoul and Chuncheon see a high of 27 degrees but moisture in the air will make it feel quite uncomfortable. Skies will get brighter but coastal regions will be quite windy.
Monsoon rain returns tomorrow afternoon from central parts of the country continuing into early Friday. Then there’s a rainy weekend ahead of us.
