A zoo in Chile introduced a baby white rhinoceros named “Silverio” to the public on Tuesday.
Silverio is the third baby from the white rhino couple Oliver and Hannah, who arrived at the Buin zoo in Chile’s Santiago from South Africa in 2013.
The 12-day-old baby rhino already weighs almost a ton, and is the third white rhino ever born in South America.
The zoo confirmed that Silverio is “completely healthy” as he took his first steps in the outside world and greeted visitors.
